Great master Kalkidan! I loved everything from the consultation to the actual process of treatment, haircut, styling and result. I was honestly thinking to cut my hair short because of how damaged it was but she did the actual magic to it and suggested how to take care so I can get my hair to be healthy and shiny again. Happy to start my curly journey and very happy to find such a place and love my new curls!

Kalkidan is so nice. Very understanding and friendly. When Rachelle and Cyndie aren't available, I recommend her. You'll love her routines too. She braids my natural hair well and I was satisfied with my protective style.

First time in a salon and first time getting my hair done. What an experience from start to finish. Keina was my stylist and she was patient and showed me every step of the way what she was doing. I had no idea about what style would look good on me and she shaped my hair into a style that was SO flattering. I also got highlights done and again she helped me with getting a colour that compliments my skin tone. Khalkidan was very knowledgeable and showed me step by step how she was doing my hair from the clarifying shampoo and it's purpose to deep conditioning to styling tips for my natural hair, and the products used. A great way and place to learn to do your natural 4 C hair with defined curls.

I don’t normally do colour treatments on my hair, but I’m glad I did! Rachelle did an amazing job and made me feel super comfortable throughout the entire appointment. She made sure I was happy with the end result and gave me the exact look I wanted. Thanks so much Rachelle! Cindy did a great job! I didn't really know how I wanted my hair, I struggled styling it, she did my first curly cut, I used to wear it straight. Though the process she explained me everything and was always saying I could ask anything. She was amazing, my curls look gorgeous!

My natural wavy hair is wavin' hiii 👋 Back then, when I didn't straighten my hair, it was frizzy. When I straightened it, it was too flat. And when I curled it, it got damaged. Took the plunge and booked an appointment with Cindy nine months ago and it's SO worth it 🥺 She's been walking me through an easy haircare routine and learned about my type 2B hair. Hair type 2B Stylist Cindy is so kind and a pro! I feel comfortable whenever I'm in her chair and I trust whatever her recommendation is. She answers a lot of my questions every visit without judgement. She's very experienced and has worked with a lot of different types of hair.

Rachelle is absolutely 5-stars AMAZING! I truly believe she possesses an incredible talent with her shears. She cut my hair back in the summer and brought my curls to life! They were limp and lacked shape, but her dry cut technique helped me fall back in love with my natural hair. For weeks after my initial cut, I received so compliments on my curls, and people genuinely noticed the overall healthiness of my hair. I booked an appointment with her again today, and once more, I was so pleased with my service. Rachelle took the time to explain every step of what she was doing. Prior to making any changes to my hair's length, she showed me how much she intended to trim off, and after I agreed, she proceeded with the cuts. I truly value having a stylist who listens and collaborates with me to ensure such a positive experience during and after the cut. I also appreciate her assurance that if there were any issues after I washed my hair at home, I could simply reach out to her. It's evident she genuinely cares about her clients. It’s my first time getting a cut with Urban Curls and Jade did a great job! I love the look she gave me, adding layers while keeping the length. It’s a significant improvement to my previous look. I also loved that I could ask her questions about hair care and she answered them patiently. Would definitely go back!

I am super happy with my hair! Kalkidan did an excellent job cutting and styling my hair and took extra time and care to ensure I got exactly what I envisioned for my haircut. I went to urban curls for the first time,I booked for full highlights and provided a picture of what I wanted and RACHELLE delivered!!!! She is absolutely amazing and talented. she walked me through the whole process step-by-step. The salon is just a vibe. Good energy, talented stylists. Urban curls is a10/10!!!!!! Rachelle truly killed it with my hair as soon as I left and started walking to my car I got stop twice by random people saying they love my hair:).
